Paint Correction & Enhancement
Restore the Depth, Remove the Damage, Reveal the Gloss
Your paint shouldn't just shine-it should look flawless. Swirls, haze, oxidation, and scratches can dull even a new vehicle. Our paint correction and enhancement services revive and refine your finish, using professional-grade tools and techniques-including wet sanding for deeper restoration.
What Is Paint Enhancement?
Paint enhancement is a single-stage polish designed to improve overall gloss and clarity. It removes light haze and micro-marring but doesn't chase deeper defects. Perfect for newer vehicles or budget-conscious owners who want a major improvement with less downtime.
What About Wet Sanding?
Wet sanding is a highly skilled, precision process used to level more severe imperfections that polishing alone can't correct-such as:
- Deep scratches
- Orange peel (factory texture)
- Heavy water spotting or etching
- Body shop sanding marks or clear coat runs
We use ultra-fine abrasives and finishing techniques to safely level the clear coat and then polish it back to a mirror finish. It's typically reserved for high-end restoration work or vehicles going to show.
🔧 Only experienced professionals should attempt wet sanding. At our shop, it's done under controlled lighting with constant depth monitoring to protect your paint.
Our Correction Process
Here's exactly what your vehicle will undergo during any correction or enhancement service:
1. Thorough Wash & Decontamination
We begin with a pH-balanced foam bath, hand wash, iron remover, and clay bar to remove all bonded contaminants.
2. Paint Inspection Under Lighting
We evaluate your paint under high-lumen, color-corrected lights to identify swirls, defects, and measure clear coat thickness. This allows us to create a safe and effective correction plan.
3. Correction or Enhancement Process
Depending on your vehicle's condition and goals, we perform:
- Paint Enhancement - Single-stage polish to brighten and boost gloss
- Multi-Step Correction - Cutting & polishing to permanently remove defects
- Wet Sanding (Advanced) - Used only when necessary for heavy defects
Each level is performed with top-tier compounds, pads, and polishers designed for precision and paint safety.
4. Surface Prep (Panel Wipe)
We use a dedicated solvent to remove all polishing oils and reveal the true finish-no fillers, no surprises.
5. Paint Protection (Optional but Recommended)
Lock in the results with a ceramic coating or professional sealant. This keeps your paint looking flawless and drastically reduces maintenance.
